My wife recently asked me to take a look at our CLEAR TV bundle and see if we are getting the best deal possible. Little did I know that she had a trick up her sleeve. She wanted me to scale back our bundle and other home expenses so that we could start a savings account for a big vacation she wants to take. I guess it’s a pretty good idea. She wants to go on a Mediterranean cruise next summer, and says if we cut our expenses by only 10% we will be able to afford it much more comfortably than we could otherwise. She wants to take the kind of vacation that we have dreamed about and eat at all of the finest restaurants and spend on whatever we want. She says she would rather not go on the vacation if we are going to have to pinch pennies. She would rather cut back on things at home, than cut back on this extravagant vacation. We didn’t get each other Christmas gifts last year and are cutting out birthday gifts until we can afford to take the trip. I guess if this is something my wife wants that bad I can make the sacrifice. Hopefully I can fulfill her dream soon so our lives can go back to normal.

Exercise is very important, and most people don't take out the time to realize how important exercise really is. Fortunately Kanye West did! Kanye took out the time to let everyone know about his special "Get Right For The Summer" workout plan that will help you to get the rapper, or NBA player that you are looking for (or at least a dude with a car)! While you're doing a "weave check" here are some tips on finding the workout that's right for you:

Figure out what you want before you choose your workout plan. Someone looking to pack on muscle is going to have goals much different than a person getting ready for a marathon
Drink plenty of fluids during your workout. If you can find something that helps you replace fluids during your workout - even better.
A personal trainer can be a great motivator during a workout. Be sure that your personal trainer understands what your goals are so that he / she can help you achieve them.
Workout music can help you train even better. Just make sure that you keep the music to a noise level where you are not distracting those around you.

Set realistic expectations for yourself. Remember, you didn't get out of shape overnight. Expecting to get in shape overnight doesn't make sense either.

One of the things that I've learned over the years is that the old saying "build a better mouse trap, and the world will beat a path to your door" is not entirely true. While it is important to create new, and innovative products, it is also important to make sure that people know about the products that you have created. Without advertising, the product to market cycle would come to a screeching halt. Even word of mouth advertising is better than no advertising at all. I usually like to come up with my own advertising ideas, but sometimes when the product that needs to be marketed needs a really big push, I look to sources outside myself for help with generating buzz around the product.

I was looking into hiring an advertising agency to promote a friend of mine who does motorcycle stunt shows. One of the craziest things that he has ever done was set himself on fire while riding his motorcycle (see video below). In either case, I decided to check out the website for an advertising agency that I had heard of called That! Advertising Agency (clever title).

Their website is well laid out, and the color scheme is very attractive. You can choose from having them do an online marketing plan, or a public relations set up. Moving Sucks! - Comedy Time With John C. McDonnell

If you have ever had to move before you know how difficult it can be (and for those planning on moving to Colorado during the winter, and are still in the process of sorting through Colorado moving companies, I wish you the best). It's rather stressful having to pack up your belongings in different boxes, and then having to label the boxes, and make sure that the boxes are loaded up on the truck properly to make it easier to know where stuff goes once the moving truck has arrived at its destination. Colorado international movers tend to have an even harder time getting all of this done when they have to deal with the harsh cold of winter. But Colorado movers tend to be some of the most experienced movers around, so ultimately no worries.

In the video below, stand-up comic John C. McDonnell talks about the difficulties of moving. One of the things that he points out, that I also have to agree with, is that when you are moving, at first thought it sounds like a lot of fun, and something that you can look forward to doing...until you do it. The Guild - Season 4 Episode 2 - Strange Allies

This is the follow up to the episode entitled Epic Guilt. In this episode, after Codex has some trouble with her web hosting company, and her computer blows up, Bladz answers her call for help, and comes over to Codex's place with spare parts for her computer. Bladz works on the computer for an hour or two, and is finally able to get it fixed. After reconnecting with the website hosting that manages their gaming site, the two log on, and discover that their guild leader is discussing final plans for their guild's safe house. The women of the guild want the new safehouse to have turrets, and be pastel colored. Most of the guys are not very happy with this, and a competition is formed in order to determine who's design will be used for the final rendition of the safehouse.

The Guild - Season 4 Episode 1 - Epic Guilt

This is one of the best web series ever! In this episode, the leader of the Axis of Anarchy has had relations with Codex. Unfortunately, Codex mistakes it for them dating. Out of guilt, Code decides to tell "The Guild" that the two of them are dating. During preparation for a raid, the web hosting for Codex's internet connection fails for a moment and Bork is able to interject that he wants to get a guild hall. After the group decides to get one, Codex tells the group that she's dating the leader of their rival group.

The Guild has been doing really well lately. I'm not sure if I'm really happy that Microsoft is sponsoring their fifth season, but I'm all in favor of whatever they need to do in order to keep this show on the air...I mean web. Hopefully, whatever web hosting directory catalogs their episodes, it will help them to maintain their first page position in the search rankings.

Comedy Show - Call Center - PART 1

Here is a funny comedy about call centers. If you've ever worked at a call center, you know how crazy things can be when someone needs you to do something important, and you have limited resources at your disposal. Conversely, if you have ever had to call customer service, you will probably be dealing with a call center (a company that handles the customer service inquiries for another company).

In this episode, the customer is trying to watch the big fight, but his cable goes out, and now he has to call customer service to see what can be done. One of the big problems of dealing with call centers is the call center software. Your machine can be on fire, but the call center can still show everything operating at optimal capacity. Not a fun situation to be in.

Also, call center performance metrics tend to be centered around empirical numbers only, and not customer satisfaction, so if you helped the customer, but the call took five minutes, and you are suppose to keep the calls under three minutes, then you get in trouble. However, even if the customer has not been satisfied, and the problem is not fixed, so long as you keep the call under three minutes, the call center person gets to keep their job.

Regardless of which side of the coin you are on, I think you can relate to what happens in this video.

Over 200,000 on Bejeweled!

Here is a really cool video of someone getting over 200,000 points on a version of Bejeweled called Bejeweled Blitz.

The person playing focused most of their moves on the center, and bottom of the board. Moving pieces in the center of the board helped to create combos from the top, and as the person ran out of moves, they just moved towards the bottom of the board which helped to further create combos that helped to rack up such a high score. They also focused more on getting their multiplier working in their favor, as oppose to, saving up their power gems. The power gems were activated when no other quick move was available, which helped them to be as successful as they were clearing this board. Impressive!

Don't Question My Fanhood!

In this commercial for ESPN, a couple of guys surrounded by several lockers are talking about watching sports on TV. One of the guys questions whether the other guy actually watched that much sports. This upsets the first guy, who thinks his "Fanhood" is being challenged. Instead of busting the guys head into a commercial locker, he shows off his barbed wire tattoo. I'm not sure if this is the best course of action, considering smashing the offending guy's face into one of the metal lockers might have gotten his point across in a much more effective manner, but it was his call. Credit cards are great unless you use them unwisely. Racking up huge amounts of debt can greatly hurt your credit score. Here is an episode of "Scrubs" where Dr. Elliot has to give someone a quick pelvic exam. If you've ever needed to describe a pelvic exam, I can definitely tell you that it's not like a gp exam, or a gpst stage 3, although a doctor would have had to successfully fill out a gp application in order to be allowed to give a pelvic exam. For some doctors, giving a pelvic exam is a routine thing, and nothing special happens. However, during the pelvic exam that Dr. Elliot gives, let's just say that the patient experiences a "special moment". Enjoy!

This is an interesting web series that I've just checked out (because most web series are saved on a video sharing site, they usually don't have to worry about web hosting). This episode features one of my favorite actors from "The Guild". I didn't realize that actor was on this web series until I decided to check it out. In this episode, the main character has come back to his office to find that company profits are up (probably because he was able to get their company website mentioned in a strong web hosting directory). In either case, the owner of the company wants even more profits for the company, so she sends over someone to run the office, and unfortunately, the person who was hired for this position is not someone the main character wants to be working for.

Here is a funny commercial featuring Derek Jeter in a locker room filled with steel lockers. Derek reaches inside his small locker to get his razor, only to find that someone has used his razor. Derek questions the guys in the locker room to find out who is responsible.

These lockers looked pretty good. They may have gotten them from MoreLockers.com. Its a website that features various types of lockers such as vented, designer, and even kids lockers. Each of the menu tabs has a drop down menu that shows you various types of that class of locker. Definitely worth checking out.

Abernathy's Mailbox - A Comedy In The Making

This was a cute video that I came across called "Abernathy's Mailbox". I'm not sure if I would compare it to "Dawson's Creek" since it doesn't involve a creek, a boat, whitehall products, or four kids that seem like they have WAAAAY too much time on their hands, but the storyline of this episode features the title character getting a letter from his pen pal.

Abernathy, also known as Abe, decides to write the pen pal back, but for some reason gets detention. The actors in this episode do a good job making this kind of subject rather humorous. The mailboxes in this episode look pretty good as well. Some of the whitehall mailboxes were kind of beaten up, but other than that, the locations were pretty nice.

Whenever you go to the beach, you can be pretty sure to find seashells, seaweed, and people in bikinis. What you also sometimes find is lost coins, gold watches, and other treasures. While some of these items wash up on the shoreline in plain site, most of the time these types of items are buried deep within the sand. One of the easiest ways to locate metal items is with a metal detector.

I've taken a look at this metal detector site, and must admit that it's laid out rather well. They feature metal detectors for industrial use, as well as, casual use. This company makes a smaller version of their metal detectors plus they also carry a rather large line of accessories for a metal detector so that if you ever need to replace your battery, or need a new coil, you won't have to hunt around to find one.

I went down to the richardson texas just energy office to check into better rates – my old provider was just bleeding me dry. Millions upon millions upon millions of people on a daily basis find major difficulty putting on a wetsuit (actually, I'm over exaggerating, but still many people have a problem doing this). Its understandable that people would find putting on their wetsuits rather challenging. There usually isn't a manual on how to put it on, and the wetsuit tends to be so tight that its rather difficult to put one on. If you are a triathlete who needs to use a wetsuit during a race, race day is not a good time to learn how to put one of these things on.

There are many different types of rain chains, and some of the most amazing houses, and temples commonly use them to better deal with rain run off. This device is also sometimes called a chains rain, although rain chain is the more commonly used term.

A rain chain can be made out of stainless steel, but just regular steel would also work. Even if the steel rusts, since the water is just going to run off anyway, this is not a problem, and can add a rustic look to your decor. I came across this video of a guy named Dick Destiny singing a song entitled "Internal Revenue Boogie". Basically, its about him getting a letter from the IRS, saying that he was going to get audited, but could possibly make a deal with the IRS to keep himself out of trouble.

Its tough when you owe money to the IRS, but what is much cooler is for those who are training to be a tax preparer. Those people learn the ins, and outs of the tax system. The ones that are already a tax preparer do have to go through an enrolled agent continuing education program, where they can get their credentials renewed. There are several classes that a tax preparer would need to go through, including an ea ethics course. But on the bright side, the continuing education classes can be taken online which would free up the student to go about their normal daily routine. This is a crazy video about dial up guy - the guy who shows up to help solve your problems, even if they have nothing to do with internet service. Problem is, dial up guy moves at the speed of dial up. Which means that you have to wait awhile for him to help you with your problem. Too bad he couldn't be more like dsl dude. He gets there A LOT faster, and is able to work things out, not only for you, but for five of your closest friends as well. In this episode, some of the staff decides to do imitations of the other doctors. Some of the doctors I definitely do recognize, while some of the others I'm not so sure about. Towards the end of the script, some of the female staff wearing really nice nursing scrubs decide to do a rendition of Turk, and JD (staff surgeon, and co-chief respectively). While the other staff was given a script, these two ladies have to adlib. Although they don't say a lot, you can definitely tell by their actions that they are mimicking JD, and Turk.

This was one of the funniest videos I have seen in regards to things people hate about Facebook. Julian Smith, from JulianSmith.tv, decided to do a video detailing some of the things that he hated about Facebook.

It was interesting that he started off with the 25 things list as his #1 thing that he didn't like about Facebook. I'm not sure if I agree with Julian on this one. Although I must admit it's hard, sometimes, to come up with a list of 25 things about anything. I mean, just imagine trying to come up with a 25 list for something like home security eldorado or Direct TV. I'm not sure that I could do it. Could you?

I will admit one of the things that I did have some problems with on Myspace was Top Friend Drama. Sometimes you need to move friends around in your Top Friends list, and sometimes they care, sometimes they don't care, sometimes they are fine with it, and sometimes they are stark raving mad about it. I learned my lesson, and decided not to have a Top Friends list on Facebook. So far this has proven to be a VERY wise idea.

I watch Ghost Hunters on the SYFY channel religiously on satellite TV, that I got after seeing these cannonsatellite.com. Ghost Hunters appears every Wednesday and is a reality show that follows Ghost Hunters Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson and their team of experts as they travel around the nation looking for proof of the existence of the paranormal.

Collin Ferguson, star of the show Eureka, another SYFY channel show made a cameo appearance on Ghost Hunters. In this show the crew of Ghost Hunters travels to San Francisco to investigate the haunting of the aircraft carrier, USS Hornet. On this episode the ghosts from the many naval battle of World War II have appeared to the many visitors of the now Hornet museum. Ghost Hunters investigates the ship to find truth if there is any truth to the stories.

Collin gets to investigate with crew and explore the ship for ghosts. He actually did quite well. Collin explores the various passage ways completely in the dark. A feat in itself with the lights on, for Navy ships can be quite tight and there are lots of knee breakers as you walk through the passage ways. Collin makes a good showing though and does not run away from the ghosts.

Going to school each day on the school bus can be a rather daunting experience for any grade school child. For some, the experience is even harder to deal with when parents insist on walking you to the school bus, and waving to you as your school bus drives away. So imagine how embarrassing it would be if your father, not only waved at the school bus as it drove by, but also dressed up in various costumes each time? For Makani Rain Price, this is not a fantasy, this is a reality. But, surprisingly, he likes it. His dad, Dale, has been dressing up in various costumes for some time. Even more amazing, the total cost of a year's worth of costumes has been under $50 (friends, and neighbors have donated many of Dale's outfits).

Unfortunately for him, he will be missing out on one of the biggest honors that you can have while serving in the the Scots Royal Guard. The other problem is that when the news surfaced of the complaints against Kate Middleton, it was also revealed that he has made several Anti-Semetic slurs on his Facebook page as well. Many women have had to deal with scrubs, sometimes they date them, sometimes they turn them away. I'll admit in school, I didn't have any interest in reading the book due to the cover. It looked another greek mythology novel, and although I went to a rather nerdy school, those that had read the book weren't really discussing it. I knew there were writing contests to discuss the content of the book, but still. Even winning a contest for writing an essay about the book didn't get me interested in actually reading it.

Then I saw this trailer for the movie based on the book.

I'm sure that if the movie was made back in 1957, the actors portraying the characters of the book would not have looked this sexy. However, I'm NOT complaining. This definitely looks to be a really good movie. And its only Part I!!!

Sweet Motor Oil Revenge

A friend of mine was trying to figure out how to clean his rugs after someone spilled some fruit punch on them. Actually it was more like motor oil, and the someone was my friend's wife. Apparently, my friend friend came home with lipstick on his collar, and couldn't explain to his wife why. So she decided to dump motor oil on his favorite monogramed rugs. Later, he remembered he had visited his mother, and she had kissed him goodbye before he left.

Either case, he was looking online under rug cleaning tips, and found a few things, but none of the videos could give him any tips on cleaning out motor oil. So my friend decided to check carpet cleaner comparisons austin and home carpet cleaning service austin, and came across a company called The Steam Team. They had a pretty cool website, and my friend was able to get them to clean his rugs. He told me they did a good job.

Fortunately, his wife didn't get together with friends before coming up with an idea to take revenge on him. Else, things might have gotten a bit more out of hand...

Hot Rod Too Hot To Handle

This hot rod was definitely too hot to handle as it caught on fire after participating in a "burn rubber" contest. I've seen these contests before, and outside of being very noisy usually they are rather tame. Drivers rev up their cars, and try to see who can make the most smoke as the rubber on their tires starts to burn off do to the intense friction. The worst I've ever seen from one of these contests is a blown wheel, but I must say that the car catching on fire is a far cry from the shows I've witnessed. Take a look!

Fireworks - Little Boom, Big Bang

For those who have been to a fireworks display, you know how noisy it can be. With all the gunpowder being burned in the air, and all the crackling noises it can be something for the ears to have to deal with. But usually it's worth it because the level of display is so explosive, it almost takes your breath away.

Imagine what would happen if you dimmed down the noise, but still kept the same explosive reach of the fireworks. And, just for fun, lets imagine that fireworks that normally would be launched several miles up into the air, was only launched about half a mile up. What do you think would happen? Greatest Boxing Entrance Ever - If Only He Could Box

I saw this video not too long ago, and it was hilarious. This guy has the longest entrance I think I have ever seen for a boxing match. I love the background music in the video. I think it was overlaid on the video, but it has openings in it where you can hear the actual commentary from the match. The guy seems really confident. He dances around quite a bit, and his entourage seem very supportive (notice the guy in the blue shirt as he addresses the audience to get them to clap for the boxer). From the entrance, you would think this was going to be one of those drag out, fired up, fights.

Unfortunately, this was not the case.

X-Men The First Class - Trailer

This was a sweet, and sour moment for me. X-Men The First Class - Trailer was suppose to come out. I had read many articles about what was to be in the movie, and I knew that they were going to go off the storyline a bit. But it's hard not to since the regular X-men movie had Ice Man as a student, and Storm as one of the teachers (in the original story line, Ice Man was there before Storm). But I can forgive all that since there are many variations as to what is suppose to happen.

After looking at the trailer, I must admit I would be willing to put aside what I know of the X-men, and give this story line a chance. From the looks of things, there will be really good acting going on with it. There are few words said in the trailer, but still it does look promising. My favorite character is Emma Frost, and I REALLY hope they do well with her. I'm not sure if I've seen January Jones (the actress portraying Emma Frost) in action before, but hopefully she will do the character justice.

I decided to title this one Old Spice Commercial Go Out Or Stay In because it fits the commercial perfectly. I like the Old Spice commercials, but they were starting to get stale since the Old Spice guy was just standing in the bathroom. This latest one goes back to what made them famous in the first place.

This Old Spice commercial features another 'one take' fantasy sequence. I won't spoil the surprise if you haven't seen this one yet, but he talks about where you can go when your man smells like Old Spice. I must admit, the ending to this one is a bit more provocative, and seductive than the original. Enjoy!

Model Sylvie Van Der Vaart Shows Off Sweet Soccer Moves

In this edition of "Big On The Web" a model showed off some really amazing soccer moves. Model Sylvie Van Der Vaart showed that she was more than just a pretty face as she gracefully juggles a soccer ball while on a photo shoot. It really did amaze me. Also, in this video, they talk about "Angry Birds" becoming a TV show. I really am not sure if I'm all that excited about that. The game is a lot of fun, but I'm just not sure if I would base a TV show off it. Of course, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Sonic the Hedgehog did extremely well having their own TV series. Who knows? Will just have to wait and see...

Would You Like Some Fries With That Dunk?

This was a much more incredible video than I realized. I was able to watch the video from ABC studios of a guy who accidentally dunks himself while performing a dunk off a trampoline during a half time show at a basketball game. The footage from ABC studios only shows the guy entering the net, and that's it so I really wasn't that blown away by it, UNTIL I saw the Youtube version of the dunk where you get to see his WHOLE BODY going through the basketball net, and then he slows himself down, and lands on the padding. Great stuff, and from the ABC news report, the guy was uninjured! Awesome!

Sometimes called Call of Duty 5 or better known as Call of Duty Warfare 2 - one of the most popular first-person shooter video games around. This game was published by Activision for use on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles and computers that run Microsoft Windows. You can understand why its such an amazing game considering it was developed by the Infinity Ward video game studios. In the game, the player takes on the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, while changing perspectives throughout the evolution of the main storyline.

Each mission features a series of objectives that are displayed on the "heads up" display. This is the special display that shows how far away an objective is, and in which direction it lies in relation to your present position. If your character takes damage from a bullet, or falling debris, it is shown as "blood" on the screen. As time progresses in the game, the player's health meter will regenerate. Each task or mini-mission will have different requirements, and will usually require the player to arrive at a particular checkpoint. Once there, the player will have to terminate the unfriendlies of that particular location. If you are unable to take out these adversaries, then you will have to choose to stand your ground to defend the objective, or plant explosive charges on the enemy encampment. The player is accompanied by friendly troops who cannot be given direct orders from the player (isn't that just special). You can collect laptop computers which contain enemy intelligence as you travel throughout the campaign you are working on.

In this particular trailer, you can see that the fighting is taken to a local neighborhood where people can be seen running for their lives. The graphics are truly amazing, and lend much to the game play. Take a look at the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 reveal trailer (full version)

I have had several times in my life where I needed to hire a moving company to move something that I wasn't able to move by myself (the grand piano in my aunt's living room comes to mind). However, I don't think that I have had any need to move a giant statue as of yet.

Interesting video featuring a group of movers who are trying to move a giant stone statue. Unfortunately, of all the moving companies the people who needed the statue moved could have worked with, they decided to pick the one that didn't remember that the main part of the statue, and the base are actually two separate pieces. As the statue is being moved, it comes apart, and the top falls over with the head of the statue smashing into the side of the crane. This company might have been chosen because they were the lowest bid amongst all the moving quotes that were turned in for this particular moving job. Suffice it to say that the moving services of this company will no longer be needed.

Here is a very long video of some great outtakes from a show called "Scrubs". I really did love this show, and although I was sad to see it go, I will admit that I really got some great laughs from watching it each night. Also, it was fun checking out the different nursing scrubs the actors wore in each episode. Sometimes they wore some cheap scrubs that you could tell was being held together by thread, and a prayer while at other times they wore some really expensive looking scrubs that you could tell were well made. The scrubs top the main character "J.D." wore in most of the episodes was usually a nice blue color, but in these outtakes, the color of his scrub is sometimes green. Either way, enjoy the video!

Kids Break It Down During Dance Off In Waiting Area

This is a really cool video of some kids having a dance contest while waiting in a doctor's office. If you've ever been in a waiting area, you know how rowdy or noisy kids can be. If there are toys for them to play with then it's not too bad, but when there isn't many kids tend to run around, messing with things, etc. That's what makes this video interesting. These kids find a creative way to occupy their time while in the waiting room.

I doubt that there was music playing, but whoever chose the music that was used for this video chose a really good mix. The kids are VERY good at dancing as you will see when you watch this video.

I'm not sure how this works, but this is a video of a woman who is in a place where its 22 degrees below zero Celsius. She pours some boiling hot water into a measuring cup, and then throws the water up in the air. Normally when you do this, the water would go up in the air, and then come crashing back to earth, but in this case, the water instantly evaporates. Really cool to watch!

Pepper Spray Tested on Human Guinea Pigs

I remember some time ago when a friend of mine was playing around with a can of pepper spray. At first he was faking like he was going to spray people, but then he decided to spray a window to see if the liquid inside was red. Unfortunately for him, the spray bounced off the window, and hit him in the face. Needless to say, I was much more inclined not to find out what it was like to get sprayed in the face with pepper spray. That's what makes the following video so special.

This is a video of an episode of a show called "Human Guinea Pigs" where they show the effects of people getting sprayed with pepper spray. What I would be curious to see is someone who got hit with pepper spray, and a stun gun at the same time. Since most people who are stunned with a stun gun tend to close their eyes really hard, you would think it would cause your eyes to water enough to help minimize the effect of the pepper spray, but I'm not sure.

It's amazing what you can do with a set of Legos. Apparently someone created a replica of a blomus stainless steel mailbox to be used in a Lego town. I do find it funny that the stainless steel mailbox replica is so big that the Lego man has to get a ladder to climb up to it. I'm surprised they didn't attach a stainless steel fireplace to it. :)

This was a video to celebrate Halloween, but I still get a kick out of it. All the Lego people are running around scared because a giant mailbox is going to eat them. Yeah right! Next you'll be telling me that the Easter Bunny is here to do my taxes!

Going To My In-Laws For The Holidays

We traveled to my in-laws for the holidays. It was so nice to have everyone get along and not fight. We ate amazing food and gained several pounds, unfortunately there was not enough food for us to be able to bring some home. The gathering was small; this made it nice to visit with everyone that was there. We saw family members that we haven't seen in a while, my sister-in-law and her family attended and we were able to catch up with them. They live across the country and we don't often see them.

My daughter and I spent time putting together a puzzle and more people joined in to help us. We worked hard and were able to finish by the end of the evening. My kids spent time playing the Wii and my in-laws had fun games they had never played before, such as “Deal Or No Deal” and “Wheel Of Fortune”. No one won very much money on either game, but they sure had fun playing. My daughter was the big winner for the bowling tournament and my son is a Wii golfer.

Before leaving for the party we set our home security alarm from AllHomeSecurity, that way we knew our home was protected. It's easy to have fun away from home when you know your security company is watching out for you.

She has a really great voice, and she was doing a really great job at the beginning, but towards the end, she experiences technical difficulties. This is my first time in the United States. I have been studying in Cairo for three years and was finally able to convince my father to send me to a college campus in Florida to experience the life of a college student in the United States. Before I left my apartment, I set my home security alarm from In Home Security. My father was pleased to send me first class and hire a genuine college student to give me a tour of the campus. The students here are very dedicated to drinking beer, playing video games, going to parties, and learning all they can about popular culture through fad websites. Things have been quiet since everyone left for "Winter Break" but I was able to get to know a friend that lives off-campus. He is having a Christmas celebration for all of the students who are too far away from home to manage a trip back.

This idea of an "orphan" Christmas party is very unique in my spectrum of experience. I once visited the States when I was thirteen and was able to celebrate New Year's Eve. This is my first Christian Christmas celebration and I hope to blog all that I can about it. The whole atmosphere here is literally electric with all of the Christmas bulb decorations and trees lined with lights and garlands.

I've seen some really amazing shoe designs in my life, but have never thought that I could actually design shoes myself. I didn't realize that there actually was a website where you can design your own shoes, and have them sent to you. I love that concept! I know that the web hosting company that hosts this site must be getting a ton of traffic. In either case, there are lots of styles, colors, and options to choose from when designing your shoe. Then after you create your design, you get the price for how much your shoe will be, and they send it to you. I'm not sure what the return policy would be since these are shoes of your own design, but its still a very amazing concept. This site needs to hold its own webinar - ecommerce tips for 2011, or at least give pointers to other clothing design websites that are not this well made.

Of course, it's even worse when you hit someone, and they don't have car insurance either. This is a comedy segment from a comedian named Felipe Esparza where he talks about car insurance - and what you do when you hit someone, and neither of you has any. Call my crazy, but I think this guy is a teensy bit disgruntled. Most people who have to print out copies will routinely encounter problems with the printer. Sometimes people will pop open the side door to see if something is jammed, while others will ask someone else for help. In more extreme cases, the person might even start yelling at the printer. The guy in this video really takes extreme measures when dealing with is office printer.

Star Trek Style Door - Geekiness Invades the DIY Universe

This is a really cool Star Trek style door. Basically, it's a door that opens with the two parts of the door sliding backwards away from the center. Then after a few seconds, the door automatically closes slowly. There is even a key to keep the door closed or open depending on what position the door was in when you turned the key. My only thing about this door is that I would like for it to be like an elevator, and have a safety on it in case someone was still in the door to keep it from closing on them. But even beyond that, this is a really cool door design!

This was a really funny skit from SNL that I found on YouTube. I was very surprised that the powers that be actually allowed this to be uploaded to Youtube considering the flack that surrounded the upload of "The Chronic Of Naria". In either case, Jim Carrey plays the amazing dancer Lilly, who emcompasses all that the black swan can be. Unfortunately, "she" doesn't do so well with her white swan.

I found this interesting video about how to create a beautiful window box from your home. Window boxes are usually found in very busy cities, but you can also find them outside the windows of homes in the country. The video features Sonia Uyterhoeven of the New York Botanical Garden, and the first idea Sonia decides to go with is using one for herbs that she would like to grow. Garden window boxes are the perfect thing to use when trying to grow herbs outside your window since traditional planters can be rather messy. Sonia decided to go with a traditional design where she repeats a particular design within her creation. She also decided to use a dwarf tomato and basil together in a larger window box.

This device is called the Sound Cube from TDK - the company mainly known for cassette tapes. The guy from Tekzilla gives a review of the product at CES 2011. The main features that seems to blow his mind are the input openings on the front for MP3 players, and even instruments. This seems like it would be really cool to have, and to plug your iPod into.

This is an interesting creation. It's a sound chamber that is pretty effective according to the guy reviewing it. It allows you to be able to listen to your music in a egg shaped seating area that helps to not annoy people around you. I wish the guy doing the review could have held his microphone close to him as he got out of the egg so that people could see what happens as you leave the sound chamber.

Here's another video of the sound egg demonstration. This time around, the person doing the review starts outside with his camera, and then sits down. By doing it that way, I can tell what happens when you go in, and come out. You can barely hear the music when you are not in the egg. Impressive. I'm just not sure how well an egg shaped sound chamber would sell in the U.S. Maybe something to be used in a salon, or even a library. Who knows?

Every year I wait for the New Years Eve programs to line up so i can see if there is anything new I might want to watch that year. I notice, however, that ever year I end up putting on the same favorite program on my direct tv. I love to know that I can expect a good show with good people and not be disappointed by dry humor and too much flash. I have a program that always gives me what I want which includes commentary, the ball dropping and a blow of excitement with fireworks. The fireworks is always my favorite part of the show.

I love knowing that I get to also see the ball dropping in every new country during my show as it is nice to see how everyone else celebrates the ringing in of the new year. I watch Brents live new years show since he gives me a preview of all other countries new year, and a great firework show that always makes me feel like im sitting right there in the crowd watching them. I can not wait to see how good the firework display will be this year as I have yet to be disappointed yet.
