Photo Bombing - Get Caught Unawares In A Photograph

Image
I am not completely sure where the term photobombing (or photo bombing) came from. Most of the time when you have an unexpected person in your picture, it was purely on accident - other times, totally on purpose. I have a friend who will look for pictures he can jump in on. Sometimes it's funny, other times he gets chased down the street. I have a couple in my private stash that are REALLY funny. Maybe some day I'll share them with the world. For now, I'll let other people be the star (or villian) of the show. Of all the times to pick your nose in public... How to tell when someone has never seen a thong before Nothing like getting a hug from a friend...except having a stranger dancing in the background. Run wild - RUN FREE!!! I think Jessica Alba just made a new friend (and got a stalker in the process). Tupak shows how its done. ****************************************** Have You Ever Photobombed A Picture? ***************************

Christopher Big Black Boykin Shows Off His Big Tyme Talent

For all you hardcore MTV fans out there you may remember Christopher "Big" Boykin of "Rob and Big". A very popular MTV show that lasted for three seasons. It would have been at least four seasons, except that the cries of fatherhood called out to Big Black, and he came back to his home state of Texas to see about his daughter. It was a very tear filled final episode when Big Black was able to see the birth of his baby daughter, and Rob Dyrdek was having to say goodbye to his long time friend. I had really missed seeing Big Black on MTV, and the crazy antics that he, and Rob Dyrdek pulled each episode. Well, for those who were suffering from withdrawal symptoms, I have some good news! No, "Rob and Big" are not coming back for a fourth season (unfortunately). Instead, Big Black, and Bamm (another persona from "Rob and Big") have created their own show called "Big Tyme Talent" where they will be featuring different talented acts. Also, I

Drag Racing, Muscle Cars and Other Speed Fan Favorites

Image
Drag racing has been around since the end of World War II. Guys would get together to challenge each other to see who could beat out the other for bragging rights, and possibly pink slips - the deed to the other competitor's car. Although many still do it illegally on the streets, more and more raceways are opening up to allow for some hot and heavy action on the drag strip. Although drag racing is exciting, and a lot of fun, not everyone is made for drag racing. It does take nerves of steel and the need for an adrenaline rush that you just can't get riding a bike down the street. Of course, you can still get quite a thrill just watching from the stands. Thousands of people will often get together with friends, and family to watch the drag racers take off in their high powered muscle machines. Check out these pics from some of America's hottest drag races! _MG_4841 18x12 by modprod See other Pixbymp Posters Harley at the Strip by modprod View more Prints poster

Clay Shirky - How Cell Phones And Facebook Have Changed The Media Game

I found this video fascinating in that it made some really good points. With the advent of the "new media", amateur video, and press has WAY more power than the traditional press. Before when you had an earthquake, it make take several days before you found out anything. Now, you can be update as it happens, not because there are more news reporters and anchors out in the world, but because we now have the ability to take pictures of something as it is happening, and broadcast it on mediums that are accessed by millions of people around the world. It's an amazing and scary thought as to the amount of power, and influence we have. It would be nice to think that we will use these abilities for good, but there are going to be those out there who would use this gift for evil. And, of course, the lines between good and evil are going to be blurred as we go along, but hopefully, people will opt to see the good that can be done with social media, and guide it to be a force for

iCar Remote App - iPhone

I saw this video of a new iPhone app called iCar Remote. It's around $699, but it can do some pretty interesting stuff with your car. Long story short, it turns your car into a remote controlled vehicle (even if you are not inside it). I'm not quite sure what the implications of this app would be, but it does boggle the mind that it exists. http://interestinglycoolstuff.blogspot.com/2009/06/awesome-ball-flip.html

2 year old pool shark plays pool with ease

This was a feature done by ABC News in New York. A two year old playing pool at a level better than most adults.  2-Year-Old Pool Shark Racks 'Em Up @ Yahoo! Video http://interestinglycoolstuff.blogspot.com/2009/06/awesome-ball-flip.html

Awesome Ball Flip

I've done something called bodyjuggling  before, but this trick may be well beyond the scope of even my instructor saTek. I'm not sure if this guy could do it again (without killing himself), but at least he got it done once and on video. Awesome Ball Flip @ Yahoo! Video Your place for the most amazing videos!

Sollight Lightcap Is Two Things In One

Image
The one thing that I really like about the Sollight Lightcap (or Lightcap for short) is that it combines two things that you really need on a camping trip (light, and water) into one convenient device. There is a solar cell on the top of the cap that collects light, and a battery that is connected to a red and white LED bulb to allow you a way to use the power to light up the night (or your path as you are walking). The Lightcap is rather lightweight and holds up to 32 ounces of your favorite beverage (or water, if that's what you're into). The top is virtually unbreakable, and like I alluded to before, the LightCap is ideal for camping trips, especially when you're limited on backpack space. Now, all of this sounds really cool, but is not going to be of much use if the Lightcap shorts out whenever you take it out in the rain, or if the prankster of the camp decides to throw it into the lake. You're in luck, because the switch on the Lightcap is actually water pr

Laserpod - A Portable Light Show To Amaze Your Friends

The Laserpod really is amazing. I remember growing up with the old laser type light fixtures that gave you more of a disco effect than say being at the planetarium. Of course, you could get a mini light show device that could give you some amazing effects, but it was VERY expensive. The Laserpod helps to bring amazing lighting effects down to an affordable size. The device is made of a light weight aluminum casting, and is easy to carry and transport to parties, meetings, or other functions where you would like to play around with your very own light show. For all the DJs out there who work the prom scene, the Laserpod will definitely come in handy.  The Laserpod was created by the extraordinary lighting artist Chris Levine,   who partnered with top fashion photographer Mario Testino, to create two versions of the Laserpod - Original and Galaxy . The Laserpod Original is for those who want a more somber mood for their light show while the Laserpod Galaxy pulls out all the stops

I-Sobot: A Robot In A League Of Its Own

It sings and dances and does just about everything else you would want a robot to do (except drive the family. That version is still in development - just kidding). The I-Sobot from Tomy (Model# 7365), was created to be the world's smallest working robot according to the Guinness Book of World Records, standing at only 6.5 inches tall (16.5 cm).   This amazing piece of technology comes with an infrared remote control to make it possible to control the I-Sobot from a distance. Definitely the kind of robot that is perfect for robot soccer tournaments, and the like. You can also program the remote for chain robot commands, so you definitely won't get bored with it doing the same old thing over and over again.  The movement of the Tomy I-Sobot is incredibly smooth which is what makes it so special. Who would have thought that something so small could have such amazing automation?  Don't believe me? Then check out the videos below. Definitely a robot that's going to

FreeLoader Solar Battery Charger

Image
I know there have been times when I've been playing on my PSP or listening to music on my iPod, and the battery dies. If you're near an electrical outlet, this isn't to bad of a situation, but there are other times when I can't get to an electrical outlet when my battery died (there's a restaurant in Dallas called Loft 610. Great place to eat, but they have virtually no outlets). That's where the FreeLoader comes in. The best way to describe this device is that it's a compilation of mini solar cells, is very portable, can easily be charged up, and holds onto the power it has obtained for up to three months (pretty cool, huh?). After you get it charged up you can then use it to charge up your electronic devices and gadgets such as your MP3 player, iPod, PSP, and so forth. This device of convenience is just barely bigger than a cell phone and is made of aluminium (the lightweight variety). Plus, the FreeLoader can be pulled open to uncover not one, but
