Model Sylvie Van Der Vaart Shows Off Sweet Soccer Moves

Image
In this edition of "Big On The Web" a model showed off some really amazing soccer moves. Model Sylvie Van Der Vaart showed that she was more than just a pretty face as she gracefully juggles a soccer ball while on a photo shoot. It really did amaze me. Also, in this video, they talk about "Angry Birds" becoming a TV show. I really am not sure if I'm all that excited about that. The game is a lot of fun, but I'm just not sure if I would base a TV show off it. Of course, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Sonic the Hedgehog did extremely well having their own TV series. Who knows? Will just have to wait and see... Video: Model shows off her soccer skills Also, here is another video that is also one of my favorites. What happens when the Angry Birds, and the pigs try to sit down to hash out a peace treaty? Watch the video to find out! Related terms: sylvie van der vaart angry birds

Would You Like Some Fries With That Dunk?

Image
This was a much more incredible video than I realized. I was able to watch the video from ABC studios of a guy who accidentally dunks himself while performing a dunk off a trampoline during a half time show at a basketball game. The footage from ABC studios only shows the guy entering the net, and that's it so I really wasn't that blown away by it, UNTIL I saw the Youtube version of the dunk where you get to see his WHOLE BODY going through the basketball net, and then he slows himself down, and lands on the padding. Great stuff, and from the ABC news report, the guy was uninjured! Awesome! Would You Like Some Fries With That Dunk? Now I know that some people out there would love to learn how to dunk a basketball in a basketball goal. So I looked around on the net and came across this tutorial video that seemed to be very popular, and so I decided to include it on my blog post. Say hello to Travis. He will be your instructor in this very useful, and informative video on

Call Of Duty 5 - Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Reveal Trailer Full Version

Image
Sometimes called Call of Duty 5 or better known as Call of Duty Warfare 2 - one of the most popular first-person shooter video games around. This game was published by Activision for use on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 video game consoles and computers that run Microsoft Windows. You can understand why its such an amazing game considering it was developed by the Infinity Ward video game studios. In the game, the player takes on the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, while changing perspectives throughout the evolution of the main storyline. Each mission features a series of objectives that are displayed on the "heads up" display. This is the special display that shows how far away an objective is, and in which direction it lies in relation to your present position. If your character takes damage from a bullet, or falling debris, it is shown as "blood" on the screen. As time progresses in the game, the player's health meter will

Getting Started with Google AdWords - Short Video

Image
There are many businesses that would love to advertise on the internet. At the present time, Google is the main provider of PPC advertising on the internet. The system that Google uses to display ads on their search engine pages is called Adwords. Although a Google Adwords account is pretty easy to manage, if you don't want manage your Google Adwords account yourself, you can hire a good Adwords management company to do the work for you. The main things you will want to do when you meet with the people that will be running your campaigns is to make sure they understand what your marketing goals are, and what type of budget they will be working with. When outsourcing the creation of your marketing campaigns, the Adwords management team that you select will be an important factor in your online marketing success. Key terms: google adwords

Statue Moving FAIL

Image
I have had several times in my life where I needed to hire a moving company to move something that I wasn't able to move by myself (the grand piano in my aunt's living room comes to mind). However, I don't think that I have had any need to move a giant statue as of yet. Interesting video featuring a group of movers who are trying to move a giant stone statue. Unfortunately, of all the moving companies the people who needed the statue moved could have worked with, they decided to pick the one that didn't remember that the main part of the statue, and the base are actually two separate pieces. As the statue is being moved, it comes apart, and the top falls over with the head of the statue smashing into the side of the crane. This company might have been chosen because they were the lowest bid amongst all the moving quotes that were turned in for this particular moving job. Suffice it to say that the moving services of this company will no longer be needed. Statue Mo

My Strange Addiction - Strong Man Competitions

Image
This is a video from the popular show "My Strange Addiction". In this episode we are introduced to a man by the name of Jeff who is addicted to strong man competitions. Jeff works out for long periods of time everyday. He is very dedicated to his weight lifting routine, and even more so to competing in strong man competitions. Jeff goes to a chiropractor on a regular basis to help with his training, but he still can't avoid the injuries that come about. Check out this short summary of the "My Strange Addiction - Strong Man" episode. My Strange Addiction - Strong Man Competitions Key terms: strong man world's strongest man

Scrubs Outtakes - 10 Minutes Worth

Image
Here is a very long video of some great outtakes from a show called "Scrubs". I really did love this show, and although I was sad to see it go, I will admit that I really got some great laughs from watching it each night. Also, it was fun checking out the different nursing scrubs the actors wore in each episode. Sometimes they wore some cheap scrubs that you could tell was being held together by thread, and a prayer while at other times they wore some really expensive looking scrubs that you could tell were well made. The scrubs top the main character "J.D." wore in most of the episodes was usually a nice blue color, but in these outtakes, the color of his scrub is sometimes green. Either way, enjoy the video! Kids Break It Down During Dance Off In Waiting Area

Image
This is a really cool video of some kids having a dance contest while waiting in a doctor's office. If you've ever been in a waiting area, you know how rowdy or noisy kids can be. If there are toys for them to play with then it's not too bad, but when there isn't many kids tend to run around, messing with things, etc. That's what makes this video interesting. These kids find a creative way to occupy their time while in the waiting room. I doubt that there was music playing, but whoever chose the music that was used for this video chose a really good mix. The kids are VERY good at dancing as you will see when you watch this video. Video: Waiting Room Dance Off

Roller Coaster Ride - Sheikra Busch Gardens Tampa FL

This is a video of someone riding a roller coaster at Sheikra Busch Gardens in Tampa, FL. Tampa is a really nice place to visit, and a nice place to find a used car. Tampa-Used-Cars.com is a good place online to look for a used car if you are in the Tampa, FL area. You can search the website for just about any car that you want including the Ford Focus , and the Nissan Sentra . There are plenty of used cars, and used trucks to choose from that you are bound to find something that you truly want.

Evaporating Water Trick - Hot Water Turns To Vapor In Cold Air

I'm not sure how this works, but this is a video of a woman who is in a place where its 22 degrees below zero Celsius. She pours some boiling hot water into a measuring cup, and then throws the water up in the air. Normally when you do this, the water would go up in the air, and then come crashing back to earth, but in this case, the water instantly evaporates. Really cool to watch! Pepper Spray Tested on Human Guinea Pigs

I remember some time ago when a friend of mine was playing around with a can of pepper spray. At first he was faking like he was going to spray people, but then he decided to spray a window to see if the liquid inside was red. Unfortunately for him, the spray bounced off the window, and hit him in the face. Needless to say, I was much more inclined not to find out what it was like to get sprayed in the face with pepper spray. That's what makes the following video so special. This is a video of an episode of a show called "Human Guinea Pigs" where they show the effects of people getting sprayed with pepper spray . What I would be curious to see is someone who got hit with pepper spray, and a stun gun at the same time. Since most people who are stunned with a stun gun tend to close their eyes really hard, you would think it would cause your eyes to water enough to help minimize the effect of the pepper spray, but I'm not sure.

"Imagine" - John Lennon - Tucson Tribute - (Sam Tsui / AHMIR cover)

Dedicated to the victims of the Tucson, AZ shooting Jan 8, 2011, and the speedy recovery of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, this is a cover of John Lennon's Imagine. This is really a beautiful rendition of a classic song, and a great dedication to those who were affected.

Baking Chocolate - Not A Binging Food

This is a good example where there are some impulses should be ignored. It features a guy who is eating some bakers chocolate, or at least is thinking about eating some baker's chocolate. He thinks back to when he had eaten baker's chocolate before and almost gagged. Will he eat it again??? Let's find out.....

Villarreal vs Osasuna 2-1 Cani AMAZING Goal 15.01.2011

This is an amazing video of a soccer goal made from pretty much the middle of the soccer field.

Lego Town vs. The Giant Mailbox

It's amazing what you can do with a set of Legos. Apparently someone created a replica of a blomus stainless steel mailbox to be used in a Lego town. I do find it funny that the stainless steel mailbox replica is so big that the Lego man has to get a ladder to climb up to it. I'm surprised they didn't attach a stainless steel fireplace to it. :) This was a video to celebrate Halloween, but I still get a kick out of it. All the Lego people are running around scared because a giant mailbox is going to eat them. Yeah right! Next you'll be telling me that the Easter Bunny is here to do my taxes!

Band of Horses - No Ones Going To Love You

Thought I'd put this video up: Band Of Horses - No Ones Going To Love You

Going To My In-Laws For The Holidays

Thanks to Roman May We traveled to my in-laws for the holidays. It was so nice to have everyone get along and not fight. We ate amazing food and gained several pounds, unfortunately there was not enough food for us to be able to bring some home. The gathering was small; this made it nice to visit with everyone that was there. We saw family members that we haven't seen in a while, my sister-in-law and her family attended and we were able to catch up with them. They live across the country and we don't often see them. My daughter and I spent time putting together a puzzle and more people joined in to help us. We worked hard and were able to finish by the end of the evening. My kids spent time playing the Wii and my in-laws had fun games they had never played before, such as “Deal Or No Deal” and “Wheel Of Fortune”. No one won very much money on either game, but they sure had fun playing. My daughter was the big winner for the bowling tournament and my son is a Wii golfer. B

Samsung Flexible OLED display Hands-on

This is a really cool item from Samsung. A flexible display. It's pretty cool to look at, but I'm trying to think of the practical applications. I do hate that the person giving the demonstration says that the display is inbreakable - famous last words. In either case, this really looks amazing, and the resolution is impressive.

Cloning Megan Fox - Yes or No?

Not sure how serious this is but I definitely think it would be interesting if we could clone Megan Fox:

8 Year Old Gets Help With National Anthem

This was during a hockey game where an 8 year old girl named Elizabeth Hughes was suppose to sing the National Anthem. She has a really great voice, and she was doing a really great job at the beginning, but towards the end, she experiences technical difficulties. Fortunately, the fans from all around her out in finishing her rendition.

College campus and a tour of the holiday season!

Thanks for the post, Arthur Lawrence This is my first time in the United States. I have been studying in Cairo for three years and was finally able to convince my father to send me to a college campus in Florida to experience the life of a college student in the United States. Before I left my apartment, I set my home security alarm from In Home Security . My father was pleased to send me first class and hire a genuine college student to give me a tour of the campus. The students here are very dedicated to drinking beer, playing video games, going to parties, and learning all they can about popular culture through fad websites. Things have been quiet since everyone left for "Winter Break" but I was able to get to know a friend that lives off-campus. He is having a Christmas celebration for all of the students who are too far away from home to manage a trip back. This idea of an "orphan" Christmas party is very unique in my spectrum of experience. I once visited

Age of War and Boxhead 2 - Check Out These Addictive Games

There are many people out there who play a game called Age of War , an action strategy game where the goal is to survive the game, and destroy your enemy's base. There are a couple of hacks for the game, that this video outlines: Boxhead 2 , the second installment to the Boxhead franchise is basically a simple game of kill or be killed. In this installment, you can earn even more weapons, and upgrades for your current weapons by simply increasing your multiplier. Here is a video game trailer for Boxhead 2 Blogging for money can be a very fun, and financially rewarding experience... Want to get paid for blogging? CLICK HERE!

Design Your Own Shoes Online

I've seen some really amazing shoe designs in my life, but have never thought that I could actually design shoes myself. I didn't realize that there actually was a website where you can design your own shoes, and have them sent to you. I love that concept! I know that the web hosting company that hosts this site must be getting a ton of traffic. In either case, there are lots of styles, colors, and options to choose from when designing your shoe. Then after you create your design, you get the price for how much your shoe will be, and they send it to you. I'm not sure what the return policy would be since these are shoes of your own design, but its still a very amazing concept. This site needs to hold its own webinar - ecommerce tips for 2011 , or at least give pointers to other clothing design websites that are not this well made.

Car Insurance - The Have Nots, and The Other Have Nots

I know a few people that don't have car insurance, and are rather scared at the possibility of having an accident. Of course, it's even worse when you hit someone, and they don't have car insurance either. This is a comedy segment from a comedian named Felipe Esparza where he talks about car insurance - and what you do when you hit someone, and neither of you has any. Felipe gives a few pointers on how to handle the situation in a calm, and rational manner. He also stresses the fact that your Jack in the Box receipt could save your life. Really great stuff!

Movie Monster Reviews Gamer

This is from some time back, but I thought it was kind of funny. Gamer is a movie that came out some time ago, and they had "Movie Monster" review it, or at least tell people that its coming out in theaters. The director and Movie Monster are having creative differences.

How To Beat Up Your Office Printer

Call my crazy, but I think this guy is a teensy bit disgruntled. Most people who have to print out copies will routinely encounter problems with the printer. Sometimes people will pop open the side door to see if something is jammed, while others will ask someone else for help. In more extreme cases, the person might even start yelling at the printer. The guy in this video really takes extreme measures when dealing with is office printer .

Star Trek Style Door - Geekiness Invades the DIY Universe

This is a really cool Star Trek style door . Basically, it's a door that opens with the two parts of the door sliding backwards away from the center. Then after a few seconds, the door automatically closes slowly. There is even a key to keep the door closed or open depending on what position the door was in when you turned the key. My only thing about this door is that I would like for it to be like an elevator, and have a safety on it in case someone was still in the door to keep it from closing on them. But even beyond that, this is a really cool door design !

Black Swan Parody Starring Jim Carrey

This was a really funny skit from SNL that I found on YouTube. I was very surprised that the powers that be actually allowed this to be uploaded to Youtube considering the flack that surrounded the upload of "The Chronic Of Naria". In either case, Jim Carrey plays the amazing dancer Lilly, who emcompasses all that the black swan can be. Unfortunately, "she" doesn't do so well with her white swan.

Window Box Decorating Ideas - New York Botanical Garden

I found this interesting video about how to create a beautiful window box from your home. Window boxes are usually found in very busy cities, but you can also find them outside the windows of homes in the country. The video features Sonia Uyterhoeven of the New York Botanical Garden, and the first idea Sonia decides to go with is using one for herbs that she would like to grow. Garden window boxes are the perfect thing to use when trying to grow herbs outside your window since traditional planters can be rather messy. Sonia decided to go with a traditional design where she repeats a particular design within her creation. She also decided to use a dwarf tomato and basil together in a larger window box .

CES 2011 - The Best iPhone Dock EVER According To Tekzilla

This device is called the Sound Cube from TDK - the company mainly known for cassette tapes. The guy from Tekzilla gives a review of the product at CES 2011. The main features that seems to blow his mind are the input openings on the front for MP3 players, and even instruments. This seems like it would be really cool to have, and to plug your iPod into.

CES 2011 - Sound Egg Isolates Your Annoying Tunes - Wired.com

This is an interesting creation. It's a sound chamber that is pretty effective according to the guy reviewing it. It allows you to be able to listen to your music in a egg shaped seating area that helps to not annoy people around you. I wish the guy doing the review could have held his microphone close to him as he got out of the egg so that people could see what happens as you leave the sound chamber. Here's another video of the sound egg demonstration. This time around, the person doing the review starts outside with his camera, and then sits down. By doing it that way, I can tell what happens when you go in, and come out. You can barely hear the music when you are not in the egg. Impressive. I'm just not sure how well an egg shaped sound chamber would sell in the U.S. Maybe something to be used in a salon, or even a library. Who knows?

Guy With Golden Voice Meets Mom - Raw Footage

I was really happy that the guy with the golden voice was able to meet his mom. This is a video of the raw footage of the two meeting. It was pretty heart touching.

Fireworks

Thanks to Lemuel Craft Every year I wait for the New Years Eve programs to line up so i can see if there is anything new I might want to watch that year. I notice, however, that ever year I end up putting on the same favorite program on my direct tv . I love to know that I can expect a good show with good people and not be disappointed by dry humor and too much flash. I have a program that always gives me what I want which includes commentary, the ball dropping and a blow of excitement with fireworks. The fireworks is always my favorite part of the show. I love knowing that I get to also see the ball dropping in every new country during my show as it is nice to see how everyone else celebrates the ringing in of the new year. I watch Brents live new years show since he gives me a preview of all other countries new year, and a great firework show that always makes me feel like im sitting right there in the crowd watching them. I can not wait to see how good the firework display will

I Love Lucy - Candy Factory Episode

I love this episode of "I Love Lucy". Sometimes, Lucy will get herself into a jam, and has to take an odd job in order to make enough money to pay to get herself out of it. Fortunately for Lucy, she has her good friend Ethel Mertz to join in with her on the job to make things easier. Well, at least in theory. In this particular episode, Lucy, and Ethel are working in a candy factory wrapping chocolates . At first, when they get started they do really well, and are able to keep up. Unfortunately for them, the boss thinks that since they are doing so well, the conveyor belt should be sped up. It's absolutely hilarious what Lucy, and Ethel have to do in order to keep up.

Clicker and Facebook - A Winning and Combination

I was checking out an article in the New York Times regarding Clicker.com using Facebook's instant personalization service to better personalize choices given to people that use Clicker.com Basically, Clicker.com is a guide to tv shows , movies, etc. that you can watch online. You can also vote on which items that you love (or don't), and these votes helps the site to better suggest to you things that you might want to watch. By integrating Facebook, Clicker.com would also be able to let your friends on Facebook know what you like with a technology called Clicker Predict that is an algorithm that takes in various factors (around 50) to figure out shows that you might like. I think this is a pretty cool idea. Although my friends, and I may like different shows in general, there are bound to be shows that we all like. Plus, by being able to see some shows that my friends like that I haven't heard of, it opens up some possibilities of developing a new found love for new st

Homeless Man With Golden Voice Saved By Social Media And Grace Of God

I was EXTREMELY happy when I came across this video. Earlier during the day I had came across the original video about the homeless man with the golden voice on Youtube. I felt really bad for him, and even sent an email to Tyra.com to see if maybe Tyra could do something to help this man get back on his feet. Within a few hours of writing that blog post, I came across a news article on Yahoo News that showed that the same man has indeed been given a job, and was making plans to go visit his mother back in New York. I am absolutely amazed at the power of social media. If the same story had ran on television, it probably would have been weeks (if ever) that the man would have gotten any help. Another example of the power of social media to push a news story to the forefront is the one regarding Antoine Dodson's sister being attacked in their home. Had that just ran on television, the news story would probably have never made it past the confines of their local area. I am definit

Signs of ADHD in Children - There Is Hope

While children can sometimes be disruptive in class without this necessarily meaning anything serious, there are many signs of adhd that a child can exhibit that people need to pay special attention to. Not every unruly child has adhd, but certain patterns in a child's behavior can tip you off to a much more serious problem than just a child acting out. Some symptoms or signs of adhd are high levels of hyperactivity, irritability, and distraction. Some other signs of adhd that are sometimes overlooked are extreme cases of difficulty in following instructions, and impulse control problems. If a child has one or two of these symptoms then it may be nothing to be concerned about. However, if a child has 4 or more of the above symptoms, then it may be a good idea to get the child tested for adhd. With early testing, adhd can be detected early, and the child can be enrolled in a treatment program to help them deal with their adhd before it wrecks their self esteem and their life.

How to Restore a Water Damaged Nokia N900 and a Hurricane Just For Kicks

Came across this video that gives a very creative way to fix water damage to a Nokia N900 phone. I was thinking about testing this method myself to see if it actually worked, but I would need to make sure that the water damage insurance on my phone was up to date before I gave this idea a try. Here is a video of when Hurricane Georges hit Puerto Rico in 1998 and caused some serious wind damage . Hurricane Georges was a category 3 hurricane that achieved maximum sustained winds of 115 MPH and violent gusts of wind between 130 to 140 MPH when it reached landfall in Puerto Rico. Definitely not something to be taken lightly.

Best Fire Truck Collision EVER!

Someone had told me about a video featuring a st louis truck accident where two trucks had collided. I did a search under the term " truck accident st louis ", and found this video where two fire trucks collide. As you watch the video, you'll see one fire truck going through the intersection, and it seems that everything is fine, but then suddenly another fire truck plows through the first! Not sure how they did this considering that you would think they would have some sort of system to let them know the path that another fire truck was taking to get to the scene of a fire. (I'm sure someone in this accident will be doing a search for " st louis injury lawyer ". Hopefully, no one was seriously hurt or anything, but it did make for an amazing video. Would have been even better if there was sound in the video or a really cool soundtrack added, but oh well.

Homeless Man With The Golden Radio Voice

I had seen some postings on Yahoo! Answers about this guy, and at first I thought it was someone who could just sing well, or something to that effect. But today, I happened to see the video on the front page of Youtube, and decided to check it out. This guy has an AMAZING announcer voice. How in the world is he homeless???? Now, I do know that logically, you have to apply for stuff, etc., but what happened to the days of when a someone was discovered singing in a coffee shop, or dancing on a street corner, or something. Considering the number of casting, and talent agents out there, you'd think SOMOENE would have discovered this guy, and signed him up. Makes you wonder.... As a side note: I finished watching the whole video where he talks about how he had taken years to develop his voice, but unfortunately drugs, and alcohol was his downfall at the time. He's been clean for two years, and hopes that someone will hear him, and perhaps give him a chance. I wish I lived clos

ThatAdvertisingAgency - The New Kid On The Marketing Block

Sometimes I like to check out marketing sites in order to find out who the "new kids on the block" are. Came across this one site for a company called ThatAdvertisingAgency.com . This is an advertising agency that specializes in having that special something that helps make advertising campaigns stand out. They combine the traditional ways of marketing with online marketing to create really innovative marketing campaigns that truly shows their strengths as an advertising agency . Their Youtube channel also is pretty well put together. I wonder what other videos they have in the making? Maybe a video about different reasons why you need to use SEO to help drive traffic to your site, or how PPC can help to get your website to the top of the organic search result rankings. Something. Overall their website looks nice, and is pretty easy to navigate. Once they add a few more bells, and whistles, it should be even more interesting to check out. The video is pretty good, and ou

Just How Old IS Old When It Comes To Real Estate?

I was checking out a few ads for Dallas homes for sale , which got me wondering about possible comedy videos covering the subject of real estate (it would have been really amazing if I came across a comedy video about Dallas homes for sale ). While I didn't find any on Dallas real estate specifically, I did come across this little gem that I wanted to share. It features a REALLY young man who acts as a real estate agent. He is showing off an amazing looking property. When gets towards the end of the tour, the couple the real estate agent is showing the house off to, are wondering what is behind a set of old doors. The real estate agent warns them that it leads to an old receptionist office. How old the office is, is the kicker. Old Fashion Real Estate

Mamcita - Fantasy About The Gardeners

I've watched "Desparate Housewives" off, and on for some time, and I must admit that this video would be even better if the main actresses in that show were in it. (sigh) With that being said, this is a pretty cool video. At first, I thought it was the gardeners that were doing the fantasizing, but its only towards the middle do you understand that the beautiful lady of the house is the one doing the fantasizing.
