Stingray Photo Bomb - How It All Happened

Swimming with the sharks has been one of the favorite pastimes of those that go on vacation in exotic locations. Another fun thing to do is to go swimming with the dolphins. Many of said that swimming with the dolphins has been very therapeutic to them. There are lots of things that you can swim with in a large body of water. One of the most unusual things that people have wanted to create a bond with is...stingrays.

Stingrays are a rather unusual creature. They don't really have eyesight, so while they swim, they suck on whatever prey happens to get in their path. This is one of the reasons why, if you are going to feed a stingray, you must be sure to LET GO OF THE FOOD THAT YOU ARE FEEDING THEM, else they may start sucking on your hand. Both women, and men have found enjoyment swimming with the stingrays, and one particular time a group of women got together, while on vacation, and were actually able to swim with a couple of stingrays. According to a Yahoo! news article, they even got together to take a picture with one of them:

Then, one of the guides decided to play a joke on the women, and pushed a stingray up behind them which got a different reaction out of the women.

This was done in 2008, and the picture was put to the side, until one day someone who had the picture decided to put it up on Reddit. The picture went viral, and was even written up about on Yahoo News. Also, some really cool memes were created from the photo (and inspired other stingray photo bombs). Take a look below!
