Getting Ready For Graduation Day

graduation day

If you have a loved one that is about to graduate high school, you know how much a big relief it can be. For some, getting through high school was pretty simple, but for others graduating was an uphill battle. So the last thing you want to have to worry about for graduation day is getting the family together at the right time, and at the right place to attend the graduation ceremony. Although organizing the graduation details can be nerve racking, there are a few things that you can do to get ready. Here are a few tips:

  • Always make sure that everyone has the address of the location of where the graduation ceremony will be held. It's amazing how so many people overlook this step.
  • Bring a cell phone with you, and make sure it is charged in case you need to call someone.
  • Figure out what part of the building the graduation ceremony will be held, and make sure everyone knows EXACTLY how to get there.
  • When in doubt, ask! It is better to embarrass yourself asking a question than to ruin a beautiful moment because you didn't have the information that you needed.
  • Make sure you camera is ready. If you are using a digital camera, it is usually best to bring extra batteries, and make sure your SD card is either empty, or near empty.

These are just a few tips to help your graduation day go as smoothly as possible. Also, make sure to mail out your graduation announcements several weeks in advance to give people time to put in to be off work, and to make travel arrangements. Good luck!
