Scrubs - Sometimes You Want Them, Sometimes Not

Back in the early 90s there was a singing group called "TLC". They were pretty well known at the time, and featured a song called "Scrubs". Basically the premise that a "scrub is a guy that think's he's fine. This is also known as a bust out. Always talking about what he wants, and sits on his....". Many women have had to deal with scrubs, sometimes they date them, sometimes they turn them away. Please note: this type of scrub is not to be confused with the scrubs featured on http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/. Those are high quality scrubs used in hospital work. In either case, here are some tips to know whether or not the man in your life is a "scrub".

- If your man lives at home with his momma, he might be a scrub.

- If he has a car, but he's always walking, he might be a scrub.

- If he makes good money, but refuses to leave a tip, he might be a scrub.

- If you first met him when he was yelling at you out a car window, he might be a scrub.

- If taking you out to a gourmet meal means you get to "super size" your order at the drive thru, he might be a scrub.

- If he mixes powdered creamer with water to make milk, he might be a scrub

- If he considers himself well read because he reads Sports Illustrated, he might be a scrub.

- If he spends more on his shoes than he does on his education, he might be a scrub.

- If he can't understand why you spend $20 on your hair, and yet he spent $175 on a pair of sneakers, he might be a scrub.

- If he walks with his legs wide apart to keep his pants from falling down, he might be a scrub.
