Rain Chain Green-It-Yourself Project

Most homes have to deal with water that runs off the roof. More often than not, even if you have a rain gutter, the rain is directed to a location where the water will pool, and cause damage to your property. One of the easiest ways to better deal with rain runoff is to create a rain chain. There are many different types of rain chains, and some of the most amazing houses, and temples commonly use them to better deal with rain run off. This device is also sometimes called a chains rain, although rain chain is the more commonly used term.

A rain chain can be made out of stainless steel, but just regular steel would also work. Even if the steel rusts, since the water is just going to run off anyway, this is not a problem, and can add a rustic look to your decor.
