Video Game High School - Trailer

video game high school

If you went to high school, like I did, you will probably remember the usual fanfare - the jocks, the cheerleaders, the "in" crowd, etc. etc... You will also probably remember studying such subjects as chemistry, physics, and geometry. The classes were pretty basic, and you learned various things like what happens when you combine sodium, and water, and also how much force is generated when you roll a 30 foot ball of string down an incline into your social studies teacher's car because he decided he didn't want to give you a second chance to get a better grade on your term paper (or is that just me). Well, regardless of your memories of high school, for the most part you took a few classes that were geared towards what you wanted to study in college like engineering, or fashion design. But I can't think of a single high school where they prepared you to play video games...until now.

Granted, when I went to college there were classes on video game design, but they were mostly nerdy, egg-head boring classes that did little to really peak your interest in the field of video game design. That's what happens when you go to a school that was created for engineering, and music, and they decide to jump on the video game design bandwagon at the last minute, and through together classes to create a new kind of computer science degree. Other colleges were much better at this than mine was, but like I have been alluding to, it would have been so much better to have gone to a high school that focused on playing video games.

All things considered, the trailer below is very well done. It features the guy from Epic Meal Time as Sgt. Ernie Calhoun (I will admit that I kind of chuckle at the thought of a Sergeant named "Ernie"). It almost reminds me of the movie trailer for the first X-men movie when Wolverine is introduced to the Xavier Institute for the first time. The kids that go to this special high school seem very interesting, and amazingly smart. I'm hoping that this really is a trailer for a movie that is coming out, and not just a fantasy trailer. Even if the movie was just made for a web show, it still would make for a great concept. The acting by the main character is really good, and the supporting cast seem like they are top notch as well. With no further adieu, the trailer - Enjoy!
