American Reunion - The Gang Is Back For Another Piece

If you are a fan of this series of movies, then I think you are going to love "American Reunion". In the American Pie series of movies, we follow the misadventures of Jim as he goes through his awkward teen years, finding out about the wonders of the opposite sex. Jim has is close friends that treat him well, then he has the crazy friends that are usually getting him into trouble - namely Stiffler.

Stiffler is definitely the epitome of self indulgence. He's always ready to for a party wherever he is, even under the aluminum bleachers during the big game. During the movie American Wedding, one of the sequels in the American Pie series, Stiffler has to retrieve Jim's wedding ring from a small dog that has eaten it. Stiffler has to watch the dog while it does its business near one of the pet waste stations in town. It probably would have been smarter for Stiffler to use the dog exercise equipment to get the dog to use the restroom sooner in order to get back the wedding ring. Nonetheless, Stiffler is finally successful in retrieving the ring, only to have to eat a "special treat" in order to not let Jim's soon to be mother-in-law know what was really going on.

In this upcoming sequel, the guys are getting back together for a much overdue reunion to catch up on old times, and see if they accomplished any of the goals that they had set for themselves back in high school. They go to the beach where they bring a set of portable bleachers to give them a safe place to hide while checking out the girls - and then the craziness ensues.

I'm really glad they have made another sequel. These last few months have been so depressing with the debates going on for the GOP presidential candidate. You can only take so much mudslinging before you have to say "enough is enough" (especially since all of the potential candidates are from the same party). Most of the comedies of late have been kind of boring. This movie should prove to be a refreshing change of pace.
