AOL HD - Atomic Mitch Gives A Review
If you remember the days when you would go to the grocery store, and get a free CD with the software to load up AOL, you're not alone (and you're probably NOT under 25). AOL did an amazing thing when they gave out free CDs for people to be able to sign up for their online service. Albeit, the internet service was rather slow, but it did work, and helped to bring the world wide web to those who could barely afford to buy dinner. Unfortunately, AOL is not the market leader that it used to be when it comes to internet service, but now they have something else on the horizon called AOL HD. AOL HD was launched back at the end of 2011 for Google TV, and Samsung Smart TV. It had already been launched on Roku, and Boxee, and now was ready for the other versions of streaming technology.
According to a press release the whole point of doing this was because the company realized that people are now starting to get more, and more of their entertainment from streaming video. AOL wanted to get in on the action, and so they developed a streaming media platform, and was able to partner with Google, and Samsung, and other companies in order to make their content available to the masses. In the video below, the Youtube Channel "The World of Oomagog" features an online show called The Atomic Mitch Show which focuses on reviewing online content, and technology that deals with it in its various forms. The host of the show decided to do a review of AOL HD. The review covers the various content that you can get on AOL HD, and how well the host of The Atomic Mitch Show thought the content was presented on AOL HD. The host does have a point about technology shows. There isn't much differentiation between most technology shows. I do wish they had some video game review shows like on G4. That would be awesome! However, if you are into movie trailers then AOL HD has more than enough to keep you entertained, and engaged for hours.
Your place for the most amazing videos!
